Interested in Running for Higher Office in CKI to help strengthen your leadership skills, grow your CKI involvement, and help grow CKI? Check out the 2024 Florida CKI Elections Handbook for more information on the different positions and the process of running for higher office! This document will have all of the information you need to effectively run for higher office and answer any questions you might have.

 

Candidates running for District Governor, Secretary, Treasurer, and Editor, along with candidates running for International Endorsement for either International President, Vice President, Trustee, or General Endorsement must submit candidate literature by Thursday, February 8, 2024 at 11:59 PM EST. All of these positions will be either elected or endorsed during the House of Delegates session during District Convention 2024. Additional information regarding candidate literature and running for one of these positions can be found in the 2024 Elections Handbook.

 

Candidates running for Lieutenant Governor will be able to run during a Divisional Council Meeting (DCM) on Zoom prior to the District Convention. If no candidate is elected during a DCM, then a candidate can run during the District Convention. Additional information regarding running for Lieutenant Governor as well as the required form to submit can be found in the Elections Handbook. Please reach out to your current Lieutenant Governor for information on the date of your Division's DCM. 

 

Applications to serve as a District Chair on the 2024-2025 District Board will open closer to April and will be posted on our District Website. It is encouraged for all members interested in serving as a District Chair to attend the 2024 District Convention.
